Thailand Post has updated that the flooding in the following postcode areas has subsided, and mail operations and deliveries of postal items have returned to normal: 32xxx, 35xxx, 37xxx, 40xxx, 45xxx, 64xxx, 65xxx, 66xxx and 67xxx.
The following postcode areas are still currently affected by the flooding, which may cause delays in mail operations and delivery of all postal items : 25110, 73190 and 34190.
Korea Post has updated that inward and outward mail operations, transportation and delivery affected byTyphoon Lingling are now back to normal.
Hongkong Post has advised that postal operations are back to normal.
Hongkong Post has advised that a series of public events, resulting in blockage of the streets and transportation network of major areas of Hong Kong, China since 21 September 2019, is seriously affecting the processing and delivery of all inbound, outbound and local mail. The disruption is expected to continue for a number of days.
Bermuda Post Office has advised that Category 3 Hurricane Humberto is expected to hit Bermuda. The mail collection and delivery service for all postal items are being suspended from 18 September 2019 throughout the island.
Pos Indonesia has advised that due to its operational processes restructuring, there may be delays in the processing and delivery of inbound items. The delays are expected to continue until the end of September 2019.
Hongkong Post has advised that postal operations are back to normal.
Korea Post has advised that Typhoon Lingling is expected to hit the Korean Peninsula by Saturday. Downpours are forecast across the Korean Peninsula, with winds exceeding 160 km/h. Inward and outward mail operations, transportation and delivery will be affected until further notice.
Thailand Post Co., has advised that Tropical Storms Podul and Kajiki, which hit northern and north-eastern parts of Thailand, have caused flash floods in many areas, resulting in delays to mail operations and transportation. The delivery of all postal items throughout the following postcode areas is affected : 32xxx, 34xxx, 35xxx, 37xxx, 40xxx, 45xxx, 64xxx, 65xxx, 66xxx and 67xxx.
Finland, Posti Ltd (FI) has advised that a strike by postal workers is liable to cause delays of up to 24 hours to some parcel deliveries on Friday, 30 August 2019 in the regions of Tampere, Vantaa and Jyväskylä. Strike action is also planned between Sunday, 1 and Wednesday, 4 September 2019. If this goes ahead, deliveries in various parts of Finland may again be affected
