• 10 Apr 2018 Fiji - Tropical Cyclone Keni

  Post Fiji Ltd has advised that Tropical Cyclone Keni is approaching the Fiji Islands. A heavy rain and flash flooding warning has therefore been issued, and major roads are already closed owing to flooding. Postal deliveries will be affected.

• 26 Mar 2018 Australia – Commonwealth Games

  Owing to the Commonwealth Games, which are taking place on the Gold Coast, Australia from Wednesday, 4 April 2018, to Sunday, 15 April 2018, delays are likely in the collection and delivery of all mail products to and from postcode areas 2484 to 2490, 4205 to 4228, and 4270 to 4287 (Queensland).

  Posta Romana has advised that, owing to a severe snowstorm which affected the south and south-east of Romania causing major disruptions to transport services and forcing the Government of Romania to declare an orange snowfall/wind alert and to close schools and universities, collection and delivery of all mail products will be suspended as of 23 March 2018, in certain areas. • 22 Mar 2018 United States – Snowstorm

  United States Postal Service (USPS) has advised that a major snowstorm is severely affecting the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the country. Flight cancellations and delays, road closures and severe weather are impacting transportation, processing and delivery of mail, and inbound and outbound operations. The New York, Boston and Washington, DC delivery areas are affected.
